Phil HarrisSenior Narrative Designer at Bigpoint GmbH
Phil Harris is a Senior Narrative Designer at Bigpoint, working on DarkOrbit and Seafight, as well as a number of new products. Phil writes unique, functional canon for each game, providing quests based on the worlds he has created. Integrating with art and design teams to realise the stories he is telling and supporting his localisation colleagues, to ensure that the meaning and terminology of the quests can be understood by the translators. Phil is friendly, outgoing and often enjoys dazzling people with the glint off his bald head, a trick he uses to gain the upper hand in meetings.
Louisa GallieSenior 2D Artist at Hunted Cow Studios Ltd
Louisa Gallie is a concept artist and illustrator with over ten years professional experience. After graduating from Abertay Dundee with a BA (Hons) in Computer Arts, she came to work for Hunted Cow Studios where she is now Senior 2D Artist. Her day job involves everything from creating concept art, promotional and marketing illustrations, UI design, icon art and more, as well as keeping the local Starbucks in business. She also works in her spare time as freelance as a book cover illustrator and has had her personal artwork published in ImagineFX magazine. Brian BaglowFounder and Director at Scottish Games Network
I'm an ambassador, advocate, speaker, supporter, lecturer, writer, communicator and expert on the interactive and creative industries. I've worked as a writer, game designer and producer. Since 1997 I've focused on communications, marketing, public relations, business development, event management, advocacy, outreach, enthusiasm, networking and social media. All delivered with a certain effortless style and brilliance.
Gary GrovesManaging Director at Strange High House Ltd.
Until recently Gary was Programme Leader for the Interactive Media degree at Moray College UHI where he taught for a number of years in the Computing and Digital Media department. Since departing the college last summer he has formed his own game development company Strange High House Ltd and is busily working away on his first Lovecraftian themed title. Gary has also started the Creative Reality Academy, a project that seeks to bring digital skills training to the Moray area in the form of evening classes and bespoke training sessions and continues to work as an educator in the field of digital media and game development.
Andrew MulhollandDirector at Hunted Cow Studios Ltd
Andrew Mulholland graduated from Abertay University in 2003 after studying Computer Games Technology and went on to form Hunted Cow Studios with Glenn Murphy. He has over 10 years’ experience in the industry and has helped bring successful games such as Gothador and Fallen Sword to market.
The event will be an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience and network with like-minded individuals and leading industry figures.
